Happy 10th Anniversary MelodySusie! 🎊
My very first manicure was 2 years ago when I was 51 years old thanks to my sweet daughter! Let me briefly explain why.
We had a very hard life. I had three children close in age, I became permanently disabled & unable to work, then my husband died at 28 years old when my kids were all very young. We’ve all struggled since.
Two years ago, my daughter surprised me and took me to a nail salon to get a mani- pedi. I loved it!!! 😁 We both got the powder dip nails & I got some designs too! I had never been pampered & it completely lifted my spirits! We loved it so much, that my daughter & I continued going every other week together! It was great sharing something so special with her!
Two months ago my daughter’s financial situation changed unexpectedly and we can’t afford to go anymore. My daughter mentioned possibly doing our nails at home in the future, but we don’t have the supplies needed, so when I saw your anniversary giveaway offer I thought, this is a chance for me to try to do something nice for my daughter & enter to try and win the supplies we would need to do our nails at home together! So that’s my story & good luck to everyone who enters!!!

Happy anniversary! I first was a nail biter and had awful man hands and I started taking care of my hands and doing mani’s when I was 22 because back in my day growing up that stuff was shamed on when a male was into that now it’s so widely acceptable and nobody has problems with it anymore I love doing my nails now and I’m not ashamed! I so would be very grateful for this thank you!

I began nails 4 years ago after watching my mum and aunties work at their salon. I first tried acrylic but could not stand the smell of monomer. Then I tried hard gel but it was too difficult for me. I finally discovered polygel and it’s the perfect medium for me to work with! It would be great to try out your drill as it takes forever for me to hand file it into the shape I want. Thank you Melodysusie for this wonderful opportunity 😊
