MelodySusie at Shanghai Nailympia 2026: Celebrating Creativity & Connection

Nailympia is one of the world's leading nail competitions, bringing together nail professionals from around the globe to celebrate the artistry of nail design and showcase the highest levels of technical skill and creativity.

Nailympia China 2026 Shanghai Station was held from May 20 to May 22, welcoming competitors from 14 countries and regions across 14 competition categories, including eight arena categories and six online or turn-in categories. Although the event has ended, the passion, creativity, and inspiration shared by nail lovers and professionals throughout the competition remain unforgettable.

As the overall Winner of Winners in Division 2, this achievement is a remarkable reflection of her hard work, perseverance, and passion for nail artistry.

Nail Art Museum & Fashion Show: A Journey through Nail History & Creativity

The two major events besides the competition at this year's Nailympia are the big opening of the Nail Art Museum and a spectacular fashion show.

The Nail Art Museum offered visitors a unique opportunity to explore the history and evolution of nails and manicure culture. Open to the public free of charge, the exhibition showcased the beauty of nail artistry throughout different eras and styles.

Through historical displays and artistic exhibits, visitors could see how nail art has evolved beyond beauty into a powerful form of personal expression. The exhibition highlighted how nails can reflect individuality, cultural identity, creativity, and artistic vision.

The Day 2 fashion show delivered another unforgettable experience.

Under the theme "Embracing Light, Blending with the World," the runway featured bold, innovative, and boundary-pushing designs that showcased the limitless creativity of nail professionals. From futuristic concepts to elegant artistic interpretations, every presentation challenged conventional ideas and demonstrated how nail artistry continues to evolve.

Watching these extraordinary creations come to life reminded us why we are so passionate about being part of this industry. The creativity, dedication, and imagination on display were truly inspiring.

Nail Life Gallery Interview Series: Coming Soon

During the event, MelodySusie also conducted a series of interviews with judges and industry professionals about their nail career journeys, creative philosophies, and experiences in the industry.

The nail industry is full of stories about persistence, creativity, opportunities, challenge, courage, and self-expression. Sometimes, hearing how industry leaders started their own journeys and the takeaways from their career experiences can encourage and inspire nail lovers who need to take their first step forward.
